As of my last posting, I have gotten a full refund thanks to the BBB's help. I filed a complaint against PlanetGo via the Chicago Shell office. I received a check for my initial downpayment and the amount owed to Monterey financial ( the financing comp. PlanetGo set us up with) was paid off in full. I feel lucky to have finally had this matter resolved, but am still angry about all of the time, money and trouble it took to get there! Lesson learned! I actually just returned, again, from a week in Waikiki and did attend a "presentation" for Just Dream. Its very similair to PlanetGo. We just wanted some "freebies" to use on our trip (rental car, shark dive). When it came time to tell them why we weren't interested, all we had to say was "yeah tried PlanetGo" and they quickly got the picture that we weren't going to buy in to their program either.

My husband and I purchased from PlanetGo in July of 2010. We have been consistently dissatisfied with their program. We bought while in Waikiki and were told all sorts of great things about how we, frequent travelers, could benefit. We decided to return to Waikiki just this last May and we even were staying at the Pacific Beach hotel where their office were located. I planned on speaking to them while we were there and seeing if they would make an effort to compensate us or correct their misguiding. We couldn't even use PlanetGo to book this return trip as there availability in the Waikiki area was horrible and inconvenient". Turns out, they are no longer in business/. We are acquainted with an employee of theirs who upon returning from a vacation discovered he was transferred to a different company all together?. Their office is vacant and I cannot find any phone numbers leading me to anything other than the reservation line:. PlanetGo had sold our loan to a horrible financial office shortly after we purchased and I was quite upset by this, but figured I'd speak to them in person while vacationing in May,. Also, our "free week vacation" may also not pan out!. You are given 1 year from activation to book it and then 1 year to travel, my one year isn't until 08/28/2011, but they are showing 08/08/2011'. I am now fighting with them to have that date fixed so I can at least gain something from all the money we're out'. When I went to use the program I realized that I too had been mislead and that the inventory of resorts that they had was dismal. It was not even close to what was represented to me by the salesman. I am on disability and thought that this was a way I could afford to travel. In reality I am out of the money and could use the money the return of that money to pay medical bills. I would be interested in any information that would assist me in recovering my losses. |

My wife and I were in Waikiki in Nov 2010 and that's when we got it. I just started receiving emails from them again in the past week. Are they back in business? Is there going to be a class action suit against them that anyone knows of? |

Purchased our memberships a year ago and when wanted to use it, we went through the same crap as the rest of you. We live in Canada. I was very tempted to take the first plane and to go Hawaii to solve this in my way, but as I understand this company is out of business now. What a scam! How can we get our money back? A lawsuit? |

I too feel that I have been taken advantage of by Planet Go! I am wondering if anyone has filed with the Hawaii States Attorney Generals office? I am filing with the Illinois States Attorney General office here in Chicago, Illinois since they have an office located in Illinois. I am also willing to join anyone filing a civil action lawsuit filed against Planet Go! |

We paid $8,000 on the day of presentaiton and we got nothing. Cannot reach anyone on the phone. Don't have $ to throw away, just had a small windfall and used that money for it. Please, if you know of a class action suit, please let me know. Also, if no one knows of one, then we are willing to initiate a class action suit.
